Under the Patronage of KMWA, Bangalore, KMWA Vidyaniketan began in the year 1981 as a Primary School with L.K.G. and U.K.G. Sections. The school is run by the association with the co-operation of philanthropists with the main object of inculcating a sense of orientation in the field of Education.
As education is the only weapon that can up-lift an individual with everlasting virtue, acquisition of good qualities. character and to understand truth about things which are basic requirements of the present-day generation.
The building is constructed on land of nearly one and half acres with playground facility. The Institution aims at importing liberal education to children irrespective of caste, colour and Creed. It has the object of continuous education up to SSLC under one roof.
The medium of instruction is in English under the Educational System. Due opportunities are given for regional and National languages as part of Compulsory Learning Subjects.
Apart from the curriculum, a few co—curricular activities like Yoga, Science Club, Newspaper Club etc. are also provided.

Nippon Gakki Hamana Factory established in Hamakita-cho (present Hamamatsu city), Hamana-gun, Shizuoka Pref and production of our first product, the 125cc Yamaha motorcycle “YA-1” begins.

Yamaha builds temporary pool “Suimu 21” for the main competition pool of the 9th World Swimming Championships in Fukuoka, Japan Yamaha succeeds in the high-concentration mass culturing.
2010 - Moving further with global operations and monozukuri reforms
Medium-term management plan with central pillars of structural reform and growth strategies announced. Start of increased manufactuaring of Japanese boats to assist Great East Japan Earthquake recovery efforts.
